Payments

Payments settle into your account. Never ours.

You connect the gateway you already use, with your own keys. We verify the confirmation is genuinely from them before an order moves — and then the money goes where it was always going.

Getting started

Five steps, about ten minutes

Not a trial that becomes a sales call. You fill in five screens and your shop is live at the end of them.

  1. Step 1: Name it, claim the link

Your shop name and its address. We check the link is free while you type it.

Onboarding step one — the shop name and its link, with the link checked for availability while it is typed.
  2. Step 2: Say how to reach you

Email, phone, and your WhatsApp number if you want orders arriving there.

Onboarding step two — the contact details customers reach the shop on, including the WhatsApp number.
  3. Step 3: Choose how you deliver

Drop off yourself, ship by courier, or let customers book you — and the currency you price in.

Onboarding step three — how the shop delivers, and the currency it prices in.
  4. Step 4: Pick a design

Seven to choose from, each built for a different kind of shop, previewed live on a phone.

Onboarding step four — the design picker, with the accent colour and a live phone preview of the chosen template.
  5. Step 5: You're open

Copy your link, put it in your bio, and start selling. No developer, no hosting to arrange.

Onboarding step five — the launch checklist and the shop’s copyable public link.
  6. Then

Your first order lands in your dashboard — and on your phone.

What you get

Four things that decide whether you open this month

Not a feature list. These are the jobs that stop a shop existing — writing the listings, hearing about the order, knowing what is working, and changing your mind about how it looks.

Listings

Descriptions, written for you

Upload two or three photos. You get back a title, a description, a category and the details customers always ask about — arriving a line at a time. Then you change whatever you want. It never touches your price or your stock.

They reach you on WhatsApp

One tap on the confirmation opens your customer's WhatsApp with the whole order already written out — and it arrives as a conversation, in the place you were already looking.

Analytics

Numbers, without surveillance

Revenue, orders, visits, product views and conversion — and the exact place the funnel leaks. Measured without ever writing down a visitor's IP address.

The analytics screen, showing total revenue and order count for the last seven days.

Your words

Edited live, on your real shop

On the left every part of your storefront, in the middle the words, on the right your actual shop — not a mock-up of it. Change a headline and watch it land at the size your customer will really read it.

The Customize screen — the section rail, the content form, and a live phone preview of the merchant's own storefront beside it.

Orders

One order, start to finish

You move it along. Your customer watches it move, on your own tracking page, with nothing to sign up for.

  1. Awaiting paymentThe order exists and is waiting on payment — or on delivery, if they chose to pay then.
  2. Payment confirmedYour gateway confirmed the payment, and we confirmed the message came from them.
  3. Being preparedYou are packing it. Your customer can see that you are.
  4. On its wayOn its way, by whichever method you set up.
  5. DeliveredDone. It stays in their order history and yours.

Tracked with an order number and the email they used. No account, no app.

  • Their browser never sends a price

Checkout posts a product and a quantity, nothing more. Every line is priced from your own catalogue, on our side, inside the same transaction that writes the order — so a tampered request cannot buy anything cheaply.

  • We check the confirmation is really your gateway

Payment webhooks are verified against the raw bytes with a timing-safe compare, and de-duplicated before anything is acted on. An order does not move because someone said it was paid.

  • Cancelling returns everything it took

The stock, the promotion use and the booked appointment slot all come back — together, in one transaction. All of it or none of it, never half.

Merchants

The people already selling on it

Shops that opened on Shopsy and stayed. Their words, not ours — and every one of them is about something the product does rather than how it made them feel.

  • I had two hundred customers and no shop — just an album and a notebook I kept losing. I built the whole thing on a Sunday afternoon and took an order before I had finished telling people it existed.

  • The part that sold me was the money. It goes to my own Paystack account the moment somebody pays — there is no payout to wait for and nobody takes a slice of it on the way. I had stopped believing that was on offer anywhere.

    KM

    Kwame Mensah

    Owner, Osu Coffee RoastersAccra, Ghana

  • Orders arrive on WhatsApp, which is where I already was all day. I stopped checking three places for the same information, and my customers stopped asking me whether their money had landed.

    AO

    Amara Okonkwo

    Founder, Nkoli ThreadsEnugu, Nigeria

  • I photograph forty pieces at a time and I hate writing about them. Uploading the photos and getting back a title and a description I only have to tweak took a whole evening off my week, every week.

  • We changed design twice while we worked out what we wanted to be, and not one word or photograph went missing either time. That sounds like a small thing until you have lost a catalogue to it.

  • The tracking page ended the messages. Customers check it themselves with their order number, no account and no app, and my phone went quiet for the first time in a year.

What it costs

We never hold your money, so we can never take a cut of it

Not a promotional rate that expires. Shopsy has no mechanism to touch your revenue — you connect your own gateway, and the charge settles where it was always going.

Most platforms

Your revenue takes a detour through somebody else's balance sheet.

  1. Your customer paysOn the platform’s checkout.
  2. The platform holds itTheir accountThe charge settles into their account, not yours.
  3. You are paid out laterOn their schedule, minus their commission.

Shopsy

Your revenue goes from your customer to your account. We only ever see the order.

  1. Your customer paysOn your storefront, through your gateway.
  2. Your gateway confirms itWe verify the webhook is genuinely theirs before the order moves.
  3. The money is already yoursYour accountIt settled into your account. There is no payout to wait for.

You still pay your own gateway's transaction fees — those are theirs, they are published, and they would be the same if you integrated the gateway yourself. Shopsy adds nothing on top.

Your shop could be open before dinner

Five screens, your own payment gateway, and a link you can put in your bio tonight. No developer, no hosting to arrange, and no bill before you have made a sale.
